Senior Python Developer

We are now looking for a Senior Python Developer to strengthen our backend capabilities and contribute to the development of high-impact products and solutions. In this role, you will work on complex features, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and play an important part in building reliable, efficient, and modern backend services.

Responsibilities

• Take full technical ownership of the backend architecture for the product, ensuring scalability, resilience, and long-term maintainability.
• Lead and influence key technical decisions — define backend architecture, choose technologies, and establish backend engineering standards.
• Mentor, guide, and support a team of Python developers; facilitate knowledge sharing and help solve complex technical challenges.
• Perform high-quality code reviews focused on clean code, maintainability, and best engineering practices.
• Design, implement, and optimize RESTful and event-driven microservices.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab + Docker + Kubernetes; collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure improvements.
• Ensure backend system reliability, observability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Tech Leads to translate business goals into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in estimation, planning, and delivery alignment to ensure smooth project execution.
• Contribute to early-stage technical discovery, architectural planning, and risk assessment.
• Explore and introduce new Python tools, AI agents, libraries, and patterns that improve developer experience, automation, and product capabilities.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks, technical debt, and improvements in backend services.
• Support cross-team initiatives in automation, reusable internal components, and standards harmonization.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Experience or strong interest in AI foundations, AI Agents, Vibe Coding, LLM-powered automations, or integrations with AI-driven services (mandatory).
• Experience taking technical ownership of backend systems in a production environment.
• experience mentoring engineers.
• Strong expertise with OOP, REST APIs, clean architecture, and microservices design.
• Solid experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask (Django preferred).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerized applications, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure is a plus).
• Understanding of distributed systems, performance optimization, and system reliability.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving mindset, and ability to mentor and guide developers.
• Fluent English (written & spoken).
