General Compliance Officer (Bucharest, Romania)

If you have at least 3 years of work experience in the Compliance or Legal Department of a Banking Institution and you possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law;
• Good command of English language;
• Able to work in a team and proactively take initiative when needed;
• Easily adaptable and able to cope with challenges;
• Willingness and ability to communicate with colleagues from other countries and senior management of the Bank on a level playing field

Then, in ProCredit Bank you will be able to:

• Monitor legislative changes and initiatives in order to identify their future potential impact on the institution's activity.
• Monitor the compliance of internal procedures with the legislation in force and monitor the proper implementation of legislative changes in the Bank's procedures.
• Analyze and evaluate internal regulations, new banking products and services from the point of view of compliance with the regulatory framework in force.
• Prepare responses to requests from authorities to provide data and information.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to NBR, Group AML, Bank Management and Management Committees, Board of Directors.
• Monitor the implementation at the level of processes, applications and systems of ProCredit Bank for the specific requirements of personal data protection, incident in the activity performed.
• Register security breaches in the Security Incident Register, monitors the fulfillment of the measures ordered.
• Initiate action on increasing the level of protection of personal data, monitor the level of compliance with specific requirements and have an important role in the implementation of new data protection initiatives, by managing the full delivery and coordination of GDPR compliance monitoring requirements.
• Provide advice, in terms of the conduct of the data protection impact assessment, monitor its functioning and make timely decisions against the outcome of the assessment.
