Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Waitress! Work and live in the Gaming Capital of Asia, Macau!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is located in Studio City, Macau. The Waiter, Bar is accountable for providing service assistance in an assigned area to ensure the highest level of food and beverage service and guest relations in accordance with Studio City’s vision, values and objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guest Relations
Skills for welcoming the guest
Always greet guests promptly in a warm, friendly manner according to outlet concept
Demonstrate a positive posture and manner at all times
Always thank and farewell guests conveying anticipation for their next visit
Skills in presentation and guest relations
Demonstrate an enjoyment and enthusiasm for work through effective relationships with other staff and by adopting a ‘can do’ approach to tasks
Adhere to Melco grooming standards at all times
Maintain readiness for service even when in "slow" sections by being fully equipped and stocked, and up to date with relevant guest information
Responsibility is always taken for ensuring a positive guest experience
Skills for maintaining the guest environment
Maintain self and the environment in all areas ensuring highest standards of presentation at all times
Maintain working order of equipment and work-space at all times
Clean table and reset for service throughout service period
Proactively manage potential hazards and communicate to supervisor
Managing Self
Conduct work as a team with other staff to ensure customer needs are met
Work with initiative to seek and offer assistance as required from team members or supervisors
Maintain positive relations with other staff and departments
Participate in training and other activities to facilitate high team performance
Skills for maintaining professional competence
Always work in a professional manner that reflects a good role model to others
Demonstrate effective time management during peak and down times
Demonstrate reliability on completion of tasks, attendance and punctuality
Act in accordance with the requirements of Melco standards and other policies and regulations at all times
Take responsibility for own performance improvement and professional development with an 80% minimum number of discussions in PIPs
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisors
Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time
Technical Skills
Communicate effectively to know allocation/section, specials etc for service
Prepare equipment, station, stock, floor for service
Prepare mis-en-place to meet anticipated demand and operating standards
Prepare and maintain back up supplies for anticipated demand continually re-stock and re-set for service. Maintain communication to ensure no stock outs
Maintain station/allocation coverage at all times
Maintain working order of equipment, work areas, storage areas, fittings, fixtures, furniture and operating systems
Complete set ups, changeovers, close downs/handovers to standard
Perform tasks in accordance to food hygiene standards and other regulations
Have working knowledge of menu and preparation
Assemble orders in sequence and make final check before service
Assist in the preparation of food and beverage products
Apply food and beverage service techniques correctly at all times
Serve meals as complete orders
Deliver service consistent with concept style and pace
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisors
Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time

Management’s observations, Training Certification, Guest Comment Cards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
Previous Waiter/ Waitress experience is preferable
Skills / Competencies
Ability to stand for an extended period of time during the shift
Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and public holiday on rotation basis
Ability to work on overtime when required due to business needs
Fluent in English language (written and verbal); Mandarin and Cantonese (written and verbal) will be an advantage
Motivated and passionate, Cheerful and good interpersonal skill. Good personality
Good listener, good follower and react calmly in all situation
