Payroll Specialist

US Software Solutions is looking for a Payroll Specialist who will manage our company’s accounting operations.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and process weekly payroll for the employees;
Manage and record the weekly invoices into computerized software programs;
Ensure the withholding and/or deductions associated with net pay is done properly;
Analyze and resolve pay discrepancies and address issues;
Schedule and process supplemental payrolls and on-demand payments, as required;
Maintain employee payroll records in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures;
Maintain relationships with third-party service providers;
Provide reports as requested by internal managers;
Perform or assist with various accounting responsibilities, including monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as needed. Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting closes by providing related payroll information.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting (recommended not a must);
Prior experience in accounting preferred;
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under pressure of deadlines;
General understanding of accounting practices and principles;
Experience with automated accounting programs and systems;
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook);
