Pedersen & Partners opened an office in Moldova in 2007, where, in addition to performing executive search, the firm established HelpDesk internal function in order to support company’s employees around the world with IT issues.
We are now focusing our efforts on strengthening our IT team and therefore announce opening of the position of a IT Helpdesk Analyst based in Chisinau or Balti.
Responsibilities
Provide first-level support to end-users for software, hardware, and network issues.
Respond to user inquiries via VoIP, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating more complex problems to senior team members when necessary.
Document and track user issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
Assist in setting up and configuring new user accounts and workstations.
Conduct basic training sessions for users on common software applications and IT procedures.
Profile
University degree, preferably in IT/technical domains.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent spoken and written English & Romanian.
Pro-active, result-oriented person with a high level of reliability.
Willing to go extra mile to ensure users’ satisfaction.
Eager to learn.
Analytical mind.
Attention to details.
Technical skills:
Proficient in Windows OS at an advanced-user level. Knowledge of Mac OS is considered a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Basic networking and wireless knowledge.
Ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking problems.
Basic Cybersecurity knowledge.
Knowledge of HCL Notes/Domino is a plus.
Basic understanding of Windows Server/Linux OS (troubleshooting basic AD services, DNS, DHCP, etc.) is a plus.
