System Administrator

General Requirements:
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a related role
- Fluent in Russian
- English proficiency at a level sufficient for reading technical documentation (B1 or higher).

Personal Qualities:
- Responsibility, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Stress resilience and readiness to handle urgent tasks or on-call duties outside regular hours.

Technical Skills
- Proficient administration of servers running Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.) and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Configuration and maintenance of server OS, including installation, updates, and backups.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN).
- Experience configuring and maintaining network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Skills in network troubleshooting using tools (Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute).
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Management of virtual machines and containers.
- Configuration and support of web servers (Apache, Nginx).
- Management of mail servers (Exim, Postfix).
- Basic database administration skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
- Understanding of information security principles (firewall configuration, antivirus systems, access management).
- Skills in backup and data recovery (Veeam, Bacula, rsync).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for task automation.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience setting up and using monitoring systems (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus).
- Work with logging systems (ELK Stack, Graylog).

Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git).
- Experience with ticketing systems (Jira).

Responsibilities (For Context):
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of servers, network infrastructure, and IT services.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage user accounts and access rights.
- Maintain data and system security.
- Document system configurations and operations.
- Participate in IT infrastructure modernization projects.
