Supply Chain Specialist

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team who will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operations, and supply chain management of the facility. This role ensures that the workplace is safe, efficient, and well-equipped to meet the needs of staff and operations. The Supply Chain Specialist will collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and maintain high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, qualify, and develop relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors;
• Negotiate contracts, price, and delivery terms to ensure best value and reliability;
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards;
• Oversee the purchasing of materials, equipment, and services in alignment with organizational needs;
• Manage purchase order processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness;
• Maintain and update procurement records and supplier databases;
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs, streamline processes, and improve supply chain efficiency;
• Monitor market trends and benchmark prices to identify savings opportunities;
• Work with finance and supply chain teams to develop budgets and forecasts;
• Identify supply risks and develop mitigation strategies;
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to organizational policies and regulatory requirements;
• Maintain ethical standards in all vendor interactions;
• Work cross-functionally with logistics, production, quality, and finance teams to coordinate supply chain activities;
• Report on procurement KPIs and progress to senior management.
