Join DK Hardware, a leading e-commerce platform in the hardware industry, and take charge of building, scaling, and optimizing our infrastructure to support global operations. As an SRE/DevOps Engineer with on-call duties you will focus on ensuring system reliability through automation, monitoring, incident response (on-call rotation), and proactive engineering, handling production issues, diagnosing root causes, and building tools to prevent future outages, balancing reactive firefighting with long-term reliability improvements. Key tasks include participating in 24/7 rotations to address critical incidents, developing alerts, fixing bugs, automating operational tasks (CI/CD, infrastructure), and collaborating with developers to build resilient systems, often spending significant time on-call to meet SLAs.

Your Role in Our Mission:

• Incident Response: Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to quickly diagnose, mitigate, and resolve production incidents impacting availability and performance.
• Automation: Design and implement automation for deployments, monitoring, infrastructure management (Terraform, Ansible), and remediation of common issues.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Build robust monitoring systems that alert on symptoms (user impact) rather than just outages, ensuring early detection.
• Proactive Engineering: Use downtime and incidents as learning opportunities to engineer permanent solutions, improve system design, and reduce toil.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues, consult on system design, and improve overall application reliability.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Documentation: Document actions, findings, and procedures to create repeatable processes and improve team knowledge

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps roles
• Strong scripting/coding skills (Shell, Python, Go).
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, OpenSearch).
• Understanding of networking, operating systems (Linux), and databases.
• Familiarity with security best practices
