Solution Support Engineer
Department: Support & Solutions Center
Reports to: Director, Country Manager, Team Leader
Location: Moldova
Position: Full-time
Mission
As a Solution Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first-line functional support across various regions, including outside EMEA time zones. Your role combines technical configuration, CI/CD pipeline management, and collaboration with ALM and BC Competence Leads to ensure smooth application deployment and maintenance. You are expected to understand and apply the company’s structure and philosophy while maintaining flexibility and discipline.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support Operations
- Provide technical support for applications, acting as the first escalation points for the functional Helpdesk for incidents and requests.
- Work in shifts when needed to ensure coverage across global regions. (Early, Day and Late)
- Respect and apply internal procedures, instructions, and directives from leadership.
2. CI/CD Configuration
- Configure CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps.
- Create and adjust release branches using templates (YML files, app files, etc.).
- Cooperate with ALM Team and BC Competence Lead for configuration and maintenance.
3. Collaboration & Communication
- Understand and apply the company’s structure and mentality.
- Maintain clear communication with team leads and management.
- Protect confidential information and ensure accurate processing.
4. Compliance & Conduct
- Adhere to active legislation and internal company regulations.
- Follow commands and indications from the Director, Country Manager, and Team Leader.
- Confirm receipt and understanding of directives via written or electronic communication.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience.
- First work experience is in ITIL/DevOps based support environment is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, BC, .NET and SQL is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and practical thinking.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Motivated, disciplined, well-structured, and flexible.
- Fast learner with a proactive attitude.
