Solution Architect

Orange Systems is looking for a for a talented and experienced Solution Architect.

As a solution architect role, you will be responsible to providing the groundwork for software development projects by tailoring IT solutions to specific business needs that requires both technical and interpersonal skills to design, describe, and manage IT solutions, cloud or on prem. You will evaluate the existing environment and work out with different elements of business, information, and technology to solve a problem ensuring all standards regarding resilience, security, performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness design is applied.

You will work closely with developers, other IT professionals and with top-level management decision-makers, demonstrating the business value of suggested technical initiative.

what you will be doing:

• Design and implement multi-cloud architectures and build hybrid environments.
• Develop and implement cloud and on-prem architecture (AS-IS and TO-BE), assess technical feasibility, oversee migrations, and address corresponding issues.
• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of end-to-end infrastructure and cloud-agnostic solutions.
• Design and implement robust, cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Apply Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework to ensure adherence to best practices in operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Advise on infrastructure architecture discussions, environment strategy, and hosting requirements.
• Maintain and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK.
• Advise customers on AWS/Azure governance, cost-saving initiatives, and achieving organization-wide standards.
• Define and develop architectural roadmaps to meet business goals, modernization efforts, and cost planning.
• Execute hands-on implementation of proposed solutions and provide technical guidance to teams during development and deployment phases.
• Implement scalable, high-performance hosting solutions for private and public cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with business units and engineering teams to develop short- and long-term solution/data strategies.

what we are looking for:

• Working experience with microservice architectures and Kubernetes etc.
• Experience with Docker containers and container orchestration tools such as EKS/AKS.
• Ability to evaluate custom and third-party solutions to enhance organizational performance and customer experience.
• Proficiency with AWS/Azure cloud platforms across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS services, designing technical solutions based on requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud services such as AWS (e.g., Kubernetes, Lambda, S3, ECS, EMR).
• Experience in implementing CI/CD setups using DevOps tools like Jenkins, CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, SQLServer).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as NextJS, TypeScript, and Python.
• Expertise in cloud-native application development, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Familiarity with network function virtualization (NFV), SDN, and 5G technologies is a plus.
• Experience in cloud security with a focus on Zero Trust security models and application security principles.
• Familiarity with API management and API security following OWASP API Security guidelines.
• Ability to work with architect tools such as Enterprise Architect.
• Fluency in English is essential with Excellent interpersonal skills.
