Senior Application Consultant

The Application Consultant main responsibility is to understand the customers business needs, translating it to detailed functional requirements and developing the solution. On a daily basis a senior application consultant produces detailed solution design documents, verification/testing, customer training material as well as conducting workshops.

Duties and responsibilities

• Support and deliver successful implementations and projects with NYCE.LOGIC WMS
• Leading with teams to implement customer solutions according to quality standards and agreed timeframe
• Perform planning and execution of management activities according to quality standards and agreed timeframe
• Functional requirement gathering and analysis
• Functional solution design of specific functions and architecture
• Clarify requirements for project/development teams
• Avoid customized solutions - use standard product/best practice
• Risk analysis - Escalate to management as appropriate. Take or suggest corrective action as required
• Discuss the best solution with clients (long and short term)
• Understanding how the system is used by end users
• Solution demo for clients and stakeholders
• Lead and conduct workshops
• Perform product-related activities such as test, installation, configuration and troubleshooting issues with software, maintain software updates and patches
• Retrospectives - analyze, evaluate and suggest improvements on internal business processes
• Identify and drive improvements related to features, solutions and business jointly with the Customer
• Distribute activities within organization to ensure competence development and an even rate of occupancy
• Mentor associate team members

Job success criteria

• High level and detailed solution design documentation skills
• Functional/feature documentation and reports to customers
• Product installation and configuration/parameter specification
• Experience in creation of user stories and test cases
• Experience in conducting acceptance testing of customer solution with successful outcome
• Specifying customer training material for the implemented solution
• Drafting test report describing outcome of performed test scenarios
• Key role in several implementation projects and proven results in deliveries linked to management activities Competencies and skills
• Understanding of WMS functionalities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and putaway/replenishment

Requirements management

• Technical experience with coding languages such as C#
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyze system logs, and identify root causes
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within warehouse operations
