Safety Manager

We are looking for a Safety & Claims Manager to join OCMC Trucking Inc., a flatbed trucking company. The ideal candidate will manage safety compliance, insurance claims, and promote a safety-first culture.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in safety management/claims handling (trucking industry)
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; safety management software experience
• Safety certification is a plus
• Fluent in both written and spoken English

Schedule: Remote, 16:00 — 00:00 (Monday-Friday)

Salary: $1,500 - $2,000 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain safety programs and policies
• Organize safety training sessions
• Handle insurance claims, documentation, and follow-ups
• Investigate accidents and incidents, providing detailed reports
• Liaise with insurance adjusters and legal reps to resolve claims
• Monitor and report safety metrics
• Ensure company compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with management and HR to promote a safe work environment
