Python Tech Lead

This role blends senior-level coding, technical decision-making, and mentorship, ensuring that our projects are delivered with quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical decisions within your team - define architecture, select technologies, and ensure development best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across back-end environments.
• Mentor and support a team of Python developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Tech Leads to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Encourage open communication, accountability, and team ownership.
• Work closely with Delivery and PM teams on estimation, planning, and project execution.
• Contribute to technical discovery and architecture decisions during early project stages.
• Proactively identify potential risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities.
• Introduce new technologies, libraries, and tools to improve performance and developer experience.
• Contribute to automation, code reuse, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across teams.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python back-end development.
• 1+ year in a leadership or mentoring capacity (Tech Lead, Senior Developer, or Team Lead).
• Strong knowledge of OOP, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Django, FastAPI, or Flask frameworks.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
