Python Developer
Job Description
This project focuses on data processing, analysis, and visualization for a complex asset management system. The goal is to enhance predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and operational efficiency through data-driven insights.
The role involves developing Python-based data analysis modules and creating visual dashboards to support maintenance and monitoring operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and optimize Python-based data analysis modules, ensuring integration with existing systems.
- Implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions to normalize and store asset data.
- Design and implement data visualization dashboards to support diagnostics, condition-based maintenance (CBM), and predictive maintenance.
- Collaborate with the technical team to integrate decision-support tools for maintenance operations.
- Review and enhance existing Python code, ensuring best practices and performance optimization.
- Develop and execute unit tests for both new and existing code.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that considers both performance and maintainability.
- Document technical implementations, including Python scripts, test reports, user manuals, and interface descriptions.
- Genuine enthusiasm for working directly with Customers; effective Customer-facing communication skills.
- Drive continuous improvement through user feedback and metrics-based decision making.
- Break down complex tasks into manageable components and execute them systematically.
- Maintain clear communication through regular code commits and effective use of collaboration tools.
- Participate in technical discussions and progress reviews as needed.
Job Requirements
Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn).
- Expertise in data visualization tools, including Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and software testing best practices.
Nice-to-have Technical Skills
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals (algorithms, concepts, and best practices).
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with Grafana dashboards and Prometheus monitoring.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts and ability to work with deployed applications.
