MEP expert in BIM modeling

We are seeking a skilled MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) with expertise in BIM modeling. The primary focus of this role is proficiency in setting up MEP systems accurately within BIM software such as Revit or other similar platforms. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in converting as-built conditions captured through point cloud scans into accurate and detailed 3D models that integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize point cloud data acquired through laser scanning to create detailed 3D models of MEP systems using BIM software.
• Analyze point cloud data to identify existing MEP components, spatial constraints, and clash detection issues.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure MEP BIM standards are effectively applied.
• Generate accurate and precise MEP layouts, including ductwork, piping, conduit, and electrical systems, within the BIM environment.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of MEP BIM libraries for various projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in MEP engineering and BIM modeling, with a focus on setting up MEP systems in Revit or other BIM software.
• Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Experience in creating libraries for BIM software
• Familiarity with point cloud is a plus.
• Proficiency in English/German languages is advantageous.
