We operate with a lean team - no dedicated data engineers - so you’ll be expected to own the end-to-end data pipeline. Our infrastructure leverages GitLab CI/CD and Kubernetes for streamlined deployments and scaling.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development: Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for image and text similarity, product matching, and other AI initiatives.
• Data Pipeline Ownership: Manage data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation processes to ensure data quality without the support of a dedicated data engineering team.
• Production Deployment: Utilize GitLab CI/CD pipelines to containerize and deploy models to Kubernetes, ensuring efficient and reliable production workflows.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for scalability and speed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions and product enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Professional Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role.
• ML Frameworks & Libraries: Proficiency in Keras or PyTorch, plus experience with scikit-learn.
• Programming Skills: Strong Python background with a solid grasp of OOP and best coding practices.
• Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in image similarity, NLP (text similarity), and training custom models.
• Data Management: Competence in data structures, data modeling, and SQL, with the ability to handle data pipelines end-to-end.
• CI/CD and Containerization: Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated workflows and scalable deployments.
• Communication: Excellent spoken and written English to articulate complex ideas and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Skills

• LLM & Vector Databases: Experience with large language models and vector-based retrieval systems.
• Multi-Agent Systems: Exposure to multi-agent architectures and autonomous decision-making frameworks.
• Advanced Image Processing: Work with image augmentation, manipulation, and similarity detection at scale.
