JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for IT projects.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams of developers, engineers, business analysts, and other project members to deliver results.
- Foster collaboration and maintain a positive team culture.
- Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and expenses are kept within approved limits.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the quality standards defined by the business and the IT department.
- Work with QA teams to conduct tests and validate project outputs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Implement best practices for project delivery and IT governance.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- 3+ years of experience in IT project management or related roles, ideally within a technology-driven or software development environment.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and experience applying them in practice.
- Strong knowledge of project management software such as JIRA, MS Project (or similar), and MS Excel.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills for managing cross-functional teams and effectively communicating with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Understanding of programming principles and ability to manage technical documentation.
- Time management and the ability to prioritize and manage resources effectively.
- Experience in UI/UX design principles and the ability to incorporate them into project planning.
- Experience with hypothesis testing, ensuring decisions are data-driven and based on evidence.
- Knowledge and application of design thinking methodology.
- Understanding of working with business models and how to leverage them for project success.
