Job Description: As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in setting up and managing our DevOps infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include configuring CI/CD pipelines, managing secrets and credentials, and implementing robust security policies. You will ensure the efficient operation of our virtual infrastructure, servers, and networking systems. This role demands close collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Platform Engineering & Infrastructure Management:

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes on Azure Cloud (AKS) and bare metal Kubernetes cluster.
• Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to ensure consistency and repeatability.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for application deployment and environment management.

CI/CD Automation & GitOps:

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD.
• Utilize GitOps principles with tools like Argo CD to manage and deploy Kubernetes resouces.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing, monitoring, and security practices into CI/CD workflows.

Scripting & Automation:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python to support various DevOps tasks.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Security) to streamline the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Advocate for best practices in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and continuous delivery throughout the organization.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and CI/CD automation.
• Proactively identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance overall efficiency and reliability.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a DevOps role.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in a production environment.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines, particularly using GitOps frameworks such as Argo CD.
• Experienced with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of networking and security principles.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Clusters, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL administration.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, or related technologies.
• Prior experience in leading a DevOps team.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
