Data Governance Specialist

Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Data Governance Specialist to work with our International Partners.

The Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of data governance processes, driving consistency and quality across all data management activities. The role will lead key initiatives and provide strategic direction to stakeholders throughout the organization.

Data Governance Specialist’s efforts will enhance data management practices, building trust in company’s data and supporting a future-proof, data-driven organization.

what you will be doing:

Data Quality Management:

• Design and implement the Data Quality roadmap for all data-related systems
• Monitor and improve data quality across various domains
• Address technical, functional, and process-related data quality issues

Data Protection and Compliance:

• Continuously monitor and enhance data security and compliance
• Ensure all business users can access and use data safely, compliantly, and effectively

Data Discovery and Management:

• Facilitate the efficient discovery of relevant data
• Manage the roll-out and implementation of Collibra: data catalog platform
• Ensure accurate metadata capture and governance, making data easily accessible to end users

Data Literacy and Training:

• Develop and manage a comprehensive data literacy program
• Organize training sessions, provide necessary materials, identify additional training needs, and promote the program across the company

what we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Fluent English.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Data Management, data governance, data analysis, data profiling, data quality, and system integration.
• Experience with data cataloging and data governance practices
• Strong ability to identify and pursue business opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and business teams and drive issues to resolution.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management at all levels.
• Deep understanding of data systems, landscapes, data policy, security standards, and governance.
