Job description
1. General purpose of the post
Organization, coordination and monitoring of prevention and protection activities, in accordance with the specific legislation in force
2. Objectives of the job
- Assessing the risks to the safety and health of the employees and elaborating a plan and instructions for prevention and protection, depending on the particularities of the performed activity.
- Developing guidelines for the application of OSH rules according to the particularities of the organization's work processes, the number of employees, the risks of accidents and professional illnesses.
- Verifying how applicable laws and regulations are in place to prevent fire risks, protect employee health and protect the environment.
3. Description of the tasks / attributions / activities of the post
- Provides usage permit from the point of view of the SSM before starting any activity.
- Ensure the formation and functioning of the Health and Safety Committee
- It proposes to employees, by job description, their duties and responsibilities in the SSH field corresponding to the functions exercised.
- Elaborates, implements, monitors and updates the prevention and protection plan consisting of technical, sanitary, organizational and other measures based on risk assessment.
- Elaborates its own instructions for completing and / or applying health and safety regulations in work, taking into account the particularities of the activities and of the unit / enterprise as well as of the work places / workstations, and disseminates these instructions in the enterprise and / or unit only after they have been approved by the employer.
- Check the acceptance and application by all workers of the measures foreseen in the prevention and protection plan, of their own instructions, as well as of their responsibilities and responsibilities in the SSH field established by the job sheet.
- Develops themes for all phases of training, establishes in writing the periodicity of appropriate training for each job in their own instructions, ensures the information and training of workers in the field of health and safety at work and verifies the acquisition and application of the received information by the workers.
- Prepares the annual PM program, organizes and arranges the first aid points within the entire company.
- Ensure the control and observance of the legal regulations in force on Safety and Health at Work, Fire Prevention and Extinction and Environmental Protection by all employees, according to Law
- Ensure hazard identification and risk assessment for workers' safety and health, including choice of work equipment, chemical substances or preparations used, and workplace arrangements, taking into account the nature of the company's activities.
- Ensure the preparation of the action plan in case of serious and imminent danger and training of all workers for its application.
- Keep track of areas of high and specific risk.
- Establish areas requiring SSH signaling as well as the type of signaling required and location according to the legal provisions.
- Keep records of the professions and professions provided by the specific legislation, for which authorization to exercise them is necessary.
- Keep records of work stations requiring additional medical examinations.
- Keep records of workstations that, at the recommendation of the occupational health physician, require proficiency testing and / or periodic psychological control.
- Monitor the operation of protection systems and devices, measurement and control equipment, ventilation or other equipment for the control of noxes in the work environment.
- Check the state of operation of alarm, warning, emergency, and safety systems.
- Perform internal controls at the work places, informing the employer in writing of the deficiencies found and the measures proposed to remedy them.
- Take appropriate measures to ensure that in areas with high and specific risk, access is only allowed to workers who have received and received the appropriate instructions.
- Provide conditions for each worker to receive sufficient and appropriate training in the field of SSM,particularly in the form of information and work instructions specific to his job and job.
- Prepares the necessary technical documentation for SSM workers' training and training
- Elaborates the training-testing program at the unit level.
- Provide consultancy to coordinators of various departments within the organization on the legislation in force and on the SSM PSI and Environmental Protection rules.
- Ensure the training and information of personnel in PM, PSI and Environmental Protection issues.
- Participate in the communication and investigation of events, the recording and recording of work accidents and dangerous incidents, the reporting, research, reporting and reporting of occupational diseases.
- Prepares the Single Register of Work-related Accidents; Single Register of Dangerous Incidents; Single register of light accidents; Unique record of injuries in work resulting in work incapacity for more than 3 working days.
- Continuously controls the way of observing / applying the safety and health rules in work.
- Proposes sanctions and incentives for workers on the basis of fulfillment of obligations and attributions in the field of health and safety at work.
- Identifies the necessary personal protective equipment and draws up the necessary equipment for workers with personal protective equipment.
