Dispatchers responsibilities include:

- Keeping track of drivers' hours
- Updating the board in a timely manner
- Planning trips accordingly if service was requested for the truck by the shop/fleet manager
- Helping coworkers if any help is needed
- Checking MC# of a broker with RTS, Loadstop. Avoid new brokers which are 0−2 years in business
- Rate Confirmation
- Detention
- POD
- Lumpers
- Email
- Vacation / Off time

The dispatcher is responsible for trying to solve all issues before coming to the manager (to can ask for advice, but not to get issue solved for you)
Determine commodities to load in our trailer and which to avoid.
Before sending a driver to a government facility, where a background check is required, it’s important to verify their ability to pass the check. For added assurance, double-checking with the safety department as well.

Basic Requirements:

- 1 year of related experience preferred
- Knowledge of English (spoken & written)
- Knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian
- Knowledge of HOS/FMCSA regulations
- Truck booking and driver route planning
- Supporting and providing feedback to drivers
- Customer support and feedback
- Friendly personality
- Ability to make quick and correct decisions independently
