Philip Morris Sales & Marketing is looking for a person to execute a support of the accounting process, as Accountant.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Oversee over all general ledger accounting activities to ensure adherence to National Accounting Standards and internal requirements.
Ensure compliance with all tax calculation, accounting and reporting requirements, and ensure timely payment of tax liabilities.
Oversee and manage Inventory count in line with internal standards.
Liaise with auditors and external advisors to ensure smooth completion of audits.
Ensure full compliance with all legislative and internal standards.
Ensure accurate tracking and recording of company assets, depreciation and inventory counts.
Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
Manage all accounts payable processes in line with internal requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
University degree in Accounting / Finance or Economics.
2+ years' experience in Accounting or Financial Controlling.
Strong knowledge of National Accounting Standards.
Strong knowledge of Moldova Tax Legislation.
Language skills: Romanian/Russian - fluent; English - upper intermediate.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Knowledge of SAP is preferable.
Experience with Big 4 or similar is preferable.
